Report a Pest

Suspect a Pest?

Reporting is made easy through EDDMapS, an online pest and pathogen tracking platform! When you submit location information and images through EDDMapS, experts will rapidly screen your report and inform regulatory officials if action should be taken. Report a pest!

If you want to communicate directly with a plant diagnostician or help collect data by submitting a sample of infected plant tissue or a pest, contact your state's National Plant Diagnostic Network (NPDN) lab. Contact a diagnostician!

Other Ways to Report

If you work in a warehouse, distribution center, or other commercial facility and would like to report a potential invasive forest pest, you have several reporting options. You may look up your State Plant Health Director and call or email them directly. You may also call your local extension agent. To find your local agricultural extension offices, select your state and proceed to its extension page to find your local offices. If you would prefer to report online, you may use the Report a pest! form.
